2009 Graduate Student Fellowship in Natural Hazards
Call for Applications
The California Institute for Hazards Research (CalHaz) is pleased to offer a one-time fellowship for graduate students involved in Natural Hazards Research. The award provides a $500 stipend. The student will have their research featured on the CalHaz website and/or present their research in the California Institute for Hazards Research seminar series.
Eligibility: Applicant must be either (1) a Ph.D. candidate at the writing stage and within the last year of their dissertation program or (2) conducting preliminary research for candidacy to be eligible for this fellowship. Please provide a 1 page description of your research, education and career goals, and a completed application form.
